Healthcare Industrial Engineering Manager

Overview

In this position, you will use your analytical skills, process improvement experience, and subject matter expertise to make a meaningful impact on the healthcare industry. You will have opportunities to grow professionally and contribute to the design of healthcare facilities that deliver the highest level of patient care; our clients include world-renowned medical institutions. Our work is project based and involves healthcare facility design, operations strategy, planning and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consolidate, cleanse, and analyze client data to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Present data analysis, findings, and recommendations during client meetings in a clear and actionable manner.

  • Lead in developing and quality review of project deliverables, including presentations, narratives, and other required project outputs. 

  • Maintain proactive communication with project managers on work status, which includes identifying roadblocks and challenges with recommended action to address.

  • Monitor the progress of work and identifies solutions to address gaps and/or challenges.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of job-related experience in a health care related field or similar background.

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Experience presenting to senior management or client interface preferred. 

  • Strong analytical skills with strong experience databases and spreadsheets. A high level of proficiency in MS Excel, database tools, MS Office, and MS PowerPoint are required. 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred in addition to the 5+ years of experience or a minimum of six (6) years’ experience in lieu of Master’s Degree. 

  • Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.

 

Schedule and compensation

  • Full-time position
  • Remote, with travel
