Overview

A growing consulting organization is seeking a detail-oriented, relationship-driven Account Manager to support and expand key client partnerships. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, proactive issue resolution, and long-term satisfaction.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, high-performance environment and enjoys a mix of strategic thinking, client interaction, and project coordination. You will play a significant role in shaping client success, driving retention, and identifying opportunities to add value across each partnership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Manage contracts, agreements, and pricing discussions to support business goals
  • Partner closely with client stakeholders and internal teams to ensure successful delivery of services and solutions.
  • Monitor ongoing initiatives while communicating progress to both internal and external teams.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and recommend improvements to meet strategic objectives.
  • Track, analyze, and forecast key account metrics.
  • Prepare account reports, presentations, and documentation as needed.
  • Support business development efforts by helping identify and explore new opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Address escalated client concerns and ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage multiple account-related projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in account management, consulting, supply chain, engineering, or a related industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience working with data, spreadsheets, and operational models.
  • Ability to communicate and present effectively to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), MES, ERP platforms, or related technical tools is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with data tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commitment to client service and continuous improvement.

Schedule and compensation

  • Full-time position

  • Remote (U.S.), with travel
